    4. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Claire, a newlywed pediatrician is volunteering in Syria and is kidnapped by ISIS. How does one return to a normal life after living a nightmare in captivity after many months? Clare's husband, David also struggles with the changes in his wife when she returns. The characters in this book are well-developed and the story was captivating. I was invested in this story from the beginning to the end. I would highly recommend ! I look forward to reading more from Judit [...]

    5. I was very close to DNFing this book because of the development of the Stockholm Syndrome-esque subplot. Other that that, I am glad I finished it, and I enjoyed the book as a whole quite [...]

    7. This was a fascinating read with very lively and action packed characters. I could so relate with the Stockholm syndrome expressed here as I was in similar situation with my abuser where you develop sympathy for them even though they are abusing you. With that said, this books had a great storyline with an unexpected ending.Loved it.
